A Partner of the law firm Poncet Turrettini Avocats in Geneva, Maurice Turrettini sits on the board of several companies in the financial industry. He is also Chairman of the Geneva International Motor Show.

Alfredo Piacentini began his financial career in 1986 at Bank Lombard Odier as a financial analyst and fund manager, both in Geneva and London, before founding Banque SYZ in 1995 with two Partners.
As partner and co-CEO of the SYZ Group, he was in charge of private banking, discretionary portfolio management and the Oyster investment funds until his departure in 2014 (CHF 33 bn of assets under management).
He was also a board member and then Chairman of Banca Albertini SYZ in Milan from 2000 to 2019.
Alfredo Piacentini holds a Master degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, obtained in 1981.

A lawyer by training, Sophie Maillard began her professional career in the compliance department of Credit Suisse before joining FINMA as a specialist in authorization conditions for banks and securities firms. She applies her expertise in banking law and financial regulation at BRP SA, a company specializing in banking compliance, where she has been working since 2012 as a founding partner and Deputy General Manager.
Sophie Maillard sits on the audit committees and boards of directors of several Swiss financial intermediaries.

Isabella Pedrazzini began her career in finance in 1986, spending 26 years at Bank Lombard Odier in Geneva. As Executive Vice President, she held several positions in portfolio management and was in charge of a significant private clientele.
In 2013, Isabella Pedrazzini co-founded Dalia Capital, which became DECALIA Asset Management in 2014.
She holds a Master degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva and a postgraduate diploma in Public Administration from Institut de Hautes Etudes en Administration Publique in Lausanne.
Board Director
Jean-Michel Darrois founded the prominent French law firm Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier in 1987. He advises businesses, boards of directors and senior management, as well as high net worth individuals, in major transactions and disputes. He was a member of the Conseil de l’Ordre.
He chaired and remains a member of the Company Law Committee of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE).
At the request of the French president Nicolas Sarkozy, he presided over the Darrois Commission on the Reform of Professions in 2008, and was a member of the Attali Commission on Growth. He is a Commander of the Légion d’Honneur.

Paolo Luban began his career in finance in 1984 with Bordier & Cie, where he was first involved in the European equity markets then, in 1989, became head of the financial and strategic research department.
In 1995, Paolo Luban founded Banque SYZ with Alfredo Piacentini and Eric Syz. As Partner and General Manager, he contributed his macroeconomic skills, ability to develop quantitative models and expertise in asset allocation. In March 2014, he left Banque SYZ to focus on personal projects.
He is an economics and arts graduate.

Yves Rochat was COO at Banque SYZ for 17 years, working there from its founding in 1995 up until 2013.

Sébastien Demole began his career in 2002 at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London, as a junior trader. Two years later, he was sent to Hong Kong to develop the equity derivative trading desk.
In 2009, he joined the Parisian hedge fund Boussard & Gavaudan Gestion as a proprietary trader for the multi-strategy fund.
Sébastien Demole opened the PerenInvest Family Office in Switzerland in 2012, where he was in charge of investments in various asset classes, such as direct deals in Private Equity.
He holds a BSc in Economics from Queen Mary, University of London and an MBA from INSEAD.

Xavier Guillon is also a member of the Investment Committee of the International Labor Organization (ILO) since 2009. He also served as a board member of the Alliance of Swiss Wealth Managers (ASWM) for a period of six years.
He worked for 14 years at US private bank Brown Brothers Harriman, in London and New York, heading institutional sales. He then joined Banque SYZ in 2007, where he held a number of functions, including CEO of the Oyster investment funds and member of the group’s Executive Committee.
He holds an MBA in International Marketing and a BBA in International Business from Georges Washington University.

At DECALIA, Nicolò Miscioscia is Head of Private Markets, an activity that he helped to develop since its inception. He is also Co-Portfolio Manager for Private Markets funds and mandates managed by DECALIA.
Nicolò Miscioscia is a chartered accountant (ACCA) and holds a Bsc in Management from Cass Business School in London.
He began his career as an auditor in the financial sector, spending 4 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Geneva and Luxembourg. He then co-founded U-Start Club in Lugano and Milan, a private markets platform specialised in venture capital syndications.

Prior to joining DECALIA, François Babel was a Managing Director at Pictet & Cie where he spent thirty years managing the wealth of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families worldwide.
François Babel studied Economics at the University of Geneva and holds a diploma of Financial Analyst and Portfolio Manager CIIA.

Eric Buehler, Head of Compliance, has over thirty years of experience in this field, including twenty years as a compliance manager at Crédit Agricole Indosuez, Mirabaud, Héritage and most recently at Reyl.
Before specializing in this field, Eric was Head of Operations at BNP Paribas and was also responsible for internal audit at Edmond de Rothschild and later at BNP Paribas.
Eric Buehler holds a Master’s degree in Economics from HEC Lausanne and a CAS in Compliance Management from the University of Geneva.

Michel Cogne worked at Bank Pictet & Cie for twenty-six years. As Executive Vice President, he was in charge of a significant private client portfolio.

Fabian Dufresne worked at Banque SYZ for twelve years, where he served as Head of Wealth Management.
In 1990, Fabian Dufresne co-founded Intop Training, a Geneva-based management, sales and coaching training company. Prior to that, he worked as Sales Representative and District Manager at Hewlett Packard Switzerland.
He holds a diploma in Microengineering and Computer Science.

Francesco Figliomeni worked for a family office, in charge of private equity investments.

Joël Leibenson has over fifteen years’ experience in banking, private markets, capital and financial markets and auditing.
Prior to joining DECALIA, Joël was Chief Legal & Compliance Officer at Patrimonium Asset Management AG since 2022, a fund management company active in four asset classes: Real Estate, Private Equity, Private Debt and Infrastructure. Before, Joël was Vice President for almost six years in the Legal Capital Markets department of CA Indosuez (Suisse) SA, supporting Asset Management, including its Private Equity platform, and Capital Markets activities. Previously, he was a Senior Manager at PwC, where he supervised regulatory audit works for Swiss and international banks, asset managers and wealth managers. For nearly four years he was also in charge of legal matters for Asset Management in Switzerland at J.P. Morgan.

Philippe Mathenet worked for seven years at Banque SYZ as private banker and right-hand man to Alfredo Piacentini.
He has over twenty-five years of financial industry experience, notably with Bank Lombard Odier in equity brokerage in New York and Swiss equity fund management in Geneva.
Philippe Mathenet holds a Master degree in Chemical Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, as well as a federal diploma in Financial Analysis & Asset Management.

Alexander Roose has spent fifteen years with Degroof Petercam Asset Management (DPAM), where he was CIO Fundamental Equity overviewing more than EUR 10bn in assets under management. At the same time, he was actively involved in the day-to-day management of five funds totalling more than EUR 6bn.
Before joining DPAM, he was respectively a portfolio manager of a long-short fund at Joalco and thematic analyst at Strategus.

Before joining DECALIA, Daniel Salama spent seven years with Banque Bordier & cie as Head of risk management and assisted the CFO on financial and risk topics.
Prior to that, he worked for almost seven years at Price Waterhouse Cooper (PwC) Geneva, where he was Manager in the Assurance Financial Services line.
Daniel Salama holds a Master degree in accounting, control and finance from the University of Geneva and he is a Swiss certified public accountant.

In 1999, Maria Alarcon joined the Bank Lombard Odier in Geneva, where she was appointed Assistant Vice President. There, she assisted Isabella Pedrazzini for fourteen years, before joining her in 2013 at Dalia Capital, which became DECALIA Asset Management in 2014.
Maria Alarcon began her career in the financial sector in 1986 as management assistant and executive assistant at Atlas Management.

François Botta began his career in 2010 in the Wealth Management department of Banque Coutts & Co. in Geneva, working more specifically on the UK desk. Following UBP’s acquisition of Coutts & Co., he continued to work for the bank as a Relationship Manager, again for UK clients, until August 2017. He then joined Geneva Management Group in Geneva, where he switched to Portfolio Management and joined the discretionary portfolio management team.

With around fifteen years of experience in front desk management across real estate, media, and tourism sectors, Vannessa Guagliani D’Aguanno joins DECALIA from Geneva-based group M3, where she worked as a receptionist for eight years. Prior to that, she was active in the media industry as a radio host on One FM and later on YES FM, and also co-hosted the show CASH on RTS 1.

For over three years, Laura Reymond joined the Rolex group as a receptionist and telephone operator before becoming a reception agent at the World Economic Forum.
Laura Reymond holds a professional maturity diploma and a commercial employee CFC from ECCG Aimée-Stitelmann, and she received an award from Princess Cruises for excellence in customer service.

In 1996, Daphné Smits joined Banque Piguet & Cie in Geneva where she was appointed Assistant Vice President. She worked for the CEO and the Management Committee for twelve years before joining the Marketing and Communication department as Officer and Webmaster of the bank Piguet Galland & Cie until 2016.
She started her career with Banque Scandinave en Suisse in 1993 as Management Assistant.

Emmanuella Soucas worked for eleven years at Banque Paribas (Suisse) S.A., first as an executive assistant in the Capital Markets department in Geneva, then at Paribas London as a Sales Assistant for the Italian, Spanish and German Fixed Income desks and finally as an executive assistant to the head of the Zurich branch.

In 1997, Rosanna Troiano joined Banca Commerciale Italiana in Geneva where she was administrative manager and management assistant,
She also held several administrative and client advisory positions at Banque Populaire Suisse and Credit Suisse.

Prior to DECALIA Reji Vettasseri was a senior member of Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners EMEA team with lead responsibility for credit strategies. Previously he was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs within the M&A EMEA Industrials team and a Strategy Consultant at Bain & Company.
Reji Vettasseri holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and a MSc and BSc in Law from University of Cambridge.

After a few internships in Milan notably at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Arcangela started her career at Credit Suisse in 2014 in the Wealth Management department. Since January 2018, she was Senior Relationship Manager at Credit Suisse in the UHNW Wealth Management division where she was in charge of Key Clients in Italy and Monaco.
Arcangela holds a Master’s degree in Amministrazione, Finanza e Controllo from Bocconi University in Milan.

Damien Weyermann worked for 9 years at Bank Lombard Odier and Bank Vontobel as an analyst in equity brokerage.
He then joined the asset management industry in 2010, first with Lloyds International Private Bank and then Coutts & Co as an equity analyst and portfolio manager for UHNW clients.
Damien Weyermann holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration & Economics from the University of Geneva and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (2004).
